𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠 of the Academic Unit of Human Communication, Learning, and Development, and his PhD student, 𝐌𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠, have received the 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 (𝐑𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐀) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). The RMPTA is designed to foster the research career development of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who have expressed an interest in, or are pursuing, research careers in communication sciences and disorders. In addition, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠 and 𝐌𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠, together with 𝐌𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦 and 𝐌𝐬 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐢 — two graduates from the Faculty’s Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences programme, and other team members from HKU — 𝐌𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧 and 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐙𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠, have also received the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.
